Bona Margherita of Savoy-Genoa
Maria Bona Margherita Albertina Vittoria of Savoy (born August 1, 1896 in Castello d ' Agliè , Piedmont , † February 2, 1971 in Rome ) was a Princess of Savoy.
Life
Bona Margherita was a daughter of Duke Tommaso of Savoy, Duke of Genoa (1854-1931) and Princess Isabella Marie Elisabeth of Bavaria (1863-1924).
She married Konrad Luitpold Franz Prince of Bavaria , son of Prince Leopold of Bavaria and his wife Archduchess Gisela Louise Marie of Austria , on January 8, 1921 in the Chateau d'Aglie, in Piedmont.
She is buried in the Wittelsbach family cemetery in Andechs Monastery , where her coffin was transferred in 1977 from the “Princely Crypt” of St. Michael (Munich) . Her son Eugen Leopold also rests there.
