Bonde do Rolê
Bonde do Rolê are a Brazilian electronic band that plays rock, axé, forro and folksamples with baile funk beats. Their style is also known as Rio Funk . Bonde do Rolê comes from Curitiba .
Band history
The band was founded in mid-2005 by DJs and producers Rodrigo Gorky and Pedro D'Eyrot and singer Marina Vello. In 2006 they released a promo CD and a vinyl on the Mad Decent label by American DJ Diplo .
In May 2006 the band gave their first appearances in various European countries. In July 2006 they toured the United States with Diplo and the Brazilian band Cansei de Ser Sexy . In 2007 the band announced the resignation of singer Marina due to an internal dispute. The new formation then toured Europe.
In 2012 the album Tropical / Bacanal was released .
