Bonner Strasse (Düren)
The Bonner Straße in the district town Düren ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ) is an ancient city road . It begins at Bonner Platz and ends at the transition to Stürtzstrasse on the crossing Oberstrasse . Between Oberstrasse and Hohenzollernstrasse , Bonner Strasse is classified as Bundesstrasse 264 .
The house at Bonner Strasse 34 is a listed building . Until the 1990s the house belonged to the Missionary Community of the Holy Family . Then it was bought by Caritas .
The Bonn Cross from 1700 is at Bonner Platz at the beginning of the road.
history
As early as 1685 the street was called "Bonner Heerstraß". It originally began at the Obertor and led to the "Sturmsberg". Parts of the street were renamed Frankenstrasse and Chlodwigplatz . In 1900, today's Bonner Platz was regulated.
