Bonpland is an impact crater on the front of the moon in the level of the Mare Cognitum , immediately adjacent to the southern wall of the crater Fra Mauro and partially covered by Parry in the east .

The crater is very badly eroded and in the southern part the wall has almost disappeared. The interior runs through the system of grooves in the Rimae Parry .
