Boone Pultz
Richard Boone Pultz (* 18th November 1959 ) is a former American professional boxer and the first world champion of the WBO -Verbandes in the cruiserweight division .
The southpaw from Maryland began boxing pro in 1982 and remained undefeated in 18 fights. In 1985 he defeated the later WBC world champion Bernard Benton . In December 1989 he won the first WBO world cruiserweight championship with a points win against the Norwegian Magne Havnå , but lost the title in a direct rematch in May 1990.
After nine more fights, he ended his boxing career in 2008 with a record of 25 wins and 3 losses.
