The Boone River at Webster City

The Boone River is a 179 km long river in northern US -amerikanischen state of Iowa . Its course begins northwest of Britt in Hancock County and ends at the confluence with the Des Moines River north of Stratford in Hamilton County .

The two main tributaries of the Boone River are:

• The East Branch Boone River rises south of Britt in Hancock County on 43.0702 °  N , 93.7972 °  W .
• The Middle Branch Boone River also rises near Britt at 43.1111 °  N , 93.8383 °  W .
