The Bora Ale is a volcanic massif in Ethiopia , which is located in the middle of the Erta Ale area .
Young chains of cones are located on a curve southwest of the volcano, on which there is also an embryonic shield volcano , and on concentric semicircles. The summit of the volcanic massif is the largest in the Erta Ale area. The viscous block lava produced flows up to 5 kilometers into the vicinity of the summit. The first activity of the volcanic massif produced block lava in the sea, which is now covered by a reef.
