The Bora Ventilation Equipment GmbH is a German company that develops, manufactures and markets which cooktop extractor systems. The company's headquarters are in Raubling, Upper Bavaria . Bora is an innovative pioneer in the field of cooktop extractor systems.
history
The company was founded in 2007 by master joiner Willi Bruckbauer. In the previous year, the company founder had developed a cooktop extractor system, which sucks the fumes produced during cooking downwards via an extractor built into the cooktop and is intended to replace the conventional extractor hood . In 2008 the first Bora cooktop extractor was put on sale, in the following years the product portfolio was expanded to include further air circulation and exhaust systems for private kitchens and the sales network expanded to over 58 countries.
Sponsorship
Bora has sponsored its own cycling team since 2015 , which has been participating in international cycling races together with Hansgrohe as the Bora-hansgrohe World Tour Team since 2017 . Currently u. a. the German professional cyclist Emanuel Buchmann , as well as the three-time road world champion Peter Sagan signed for the team.
