Live and act

The primary school 1964–1972 in Szabolcs Szatmar ( Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County ) was followed by the high school and the vocational school in Kisvárda from 1972–1975 . From 1975 to 1980, Biro studied at the University of Kossuth Lajos , Faculty of Natural Sciences, graduating as a biologist, in particular terrestrial ecology (M.Sc, Debrecen; MSc. 221/1980). This was followed by the doctorate to Dr. phil. 1983, Life Sciences Candidate (C.Sc.) 1989, PhD C.Sc. 1997, Gödöllő, habilitation to Dr. habil. with Venia Legendi for Plant Production and Horticultural Sciences at the Institute of Plant Production of the West Hungarian University in Mosonmagyaróvár (according to No. 49/2003) and Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (D.Sc.) - Budapest 2006.

Borbala Biro is married to János Pacsuta and they have three children together.
