The Borgøy (of Norwegian borg , Burg ' and Norwegian øy ' island ' , English Borg Iceland ) is an island in the eastern part of the archipelago Øygarden off the coast of the East Antarctic Kemplands .
Norwegian cartographers recorded it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 .
