Boris Beljajew ( Russian Борис Беляев , English transcription Boris Belyayev; born February 23, 1933 in Moscow ) is a former Soviet shot putter .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he was fifth with 16.96 m.
He set his personal best of 17.44 m on October 13, 1956 in Tashkent .
