Boris Grigoryevich Kuznetsov
Boris Grigoryevich Kuznetsov (also Kuznecov ; born October 5, 1903 in Dnepropetrovsk , Ukraine ; † September 5, 1984 in Moscow , USSR ) was a physicist, philosopher, science historian and economist in the Soviet Union.
Life
Kuznetsov graduated from the Graduate School of the Institute of Economics and began teaching at the Institute of Mining in 1921 . In 1931 he created a detailed technical plan for the power supply of the entire USSR , based on the latest inventions and international standards. From 1933 he got a position at the Academy of Science of the USSR and received his doctorate in philosophy in 1937 . Kuznetsov studied the history of engineering science to use it as a basis for future inventions. He wrote biographies on Giordano Bruno , Galileo Galilei , Isaac Newton and several writings on Albert Einstein . In 1944 he was appointed deputy director of the academy. He worked there until his death in 1984.
In the sixties and seventies, Kuznetsov linked science with philosophy in numerous writings in order to derive improvements for civilization.
