Route profile
The run will take place on a 10.7 km long circuit across the island of Borkum. Start and finish is on the promenade on the main beach. The first 2.5 kilometers lead the route over the promenade to Cafe Seeblick. The course then continues through the dunes in the interior of the island via hiking trails to the Borkum airfield . Through the inland meadows and the Greunen Stee you finally get back to the promenade at kilometer 8. After 2.7 kilometers along the sea, the route is completed. For the half marathon the running route has to be run twice.
The 5 km run leads on the same path to Cafe Seeblick, and from there in a small arc through the dunes back to the promenade.
The route for the walker goes exclusively over the sandy beach along the water. There is no timing here.
