Born to Lose is a punk band from Austin , Texas. It was founded in 2000 and after only three months brought out their first EP entitled Here's to You . Before that, the musicians played in different bands. In 2006, their album Sweet Misery was released by the People Like You Records label in Europe, after which they toured in Germany in the same year. In 2011 they played another one and a half month long tour in Europe. By then the band had built up a large fan base, mainly in the Czech Republic and Germany. As of 2012, news was rarely shared on the band's official Facebook page. Born to Lose are currently no longer active. Front singer Klink has dedicated himself to his acoustic project Nowherebound since 2012 , drummer Ian Walling continues his career with Threes Away .
