People Like You Records
People Like You Records (formerly: I Used To Fuck People Like You In Prison Records ) is a German Rock Roll 'n' - and punk - label based in Dortmund . The company works independently, but is part of Century Media .
History and direction
The label was founded in 1999 by Andre Bahr and emerged from a scene record store. In the beginning it still released stoner rock , but now the focus is on rockabilly , psychobilly and street punk .
In addition to the works of artists who are under contract with People Like You themselves, the now (as of February 2007) around 130 releases also include licensed records from the American partner labels Meteor City, TKO Records and Disaster Records (label of US Bombs front man Duane Peters ) .
An annual festival tour has been held since 2003. An overview of the People Like You program is provided by the Where The Bad Boys Rock sampler series , which introduces all of the label's active bands.
