The Meteors is a British psychobilly band that started in the late 1970s and co-founded Psychobilly.

history

The band was founded in 1979 under the name "The Legendary Raw Deal", but was soon called "The Meteors". The band leader is the singer and guitarist P. Paul Fenech from London . His adopted home is Milan . The abbreviation "OTMAPP", which is often used in connection with the band, means "Only The Meteors Are Pure Psychobilly".

Influenced by rock 'n' roll and rockabilly of the 1950s as well as punk , The Meteors founded the style Psychobilly . Your texts move mainly in the horror B-movie area. Political texts or statements, on the other hand, are strictly rejected.
