style
The band's music is primarily characterized by its melody, while the lyrics are mostly taken from real life or are socially critical, "without, however, calling for a big revolt, as other striking bands like to do". The modern, instrumental and vocally polyphonic music is accompanied by distinctive melodies and more modern sounds, "but without falling into dullness", hard, with a lot of energy, but still partly capable of masses.
“ A good piece of sound carrier with a modern, fresh, appealing sound for the younger or young at heart generation of punk rock. "
The band itself expressly differentiates its style from traditional punk, nonetheless describes itself as a punk rock band that develops its own contemporary style from the respective influences.
“ So if you no longer wanted to call it punk, then what !? "
engagement
In their texts, announcements and interviews, the band speaks out against anti-Semitism , xenophobia , violence , the general German rock movement and its politically unclear positioning, "even against the brown pulp". They are also critical of issues such as patriotism.
In August 2013 they also began to support the environmental protection organization Sea Shepherd by providing information material at their appearances, visually representing the organization in the form of flags and setting up a donation box.
In the summer of 2015, the band organized a day trip for Syrian refugees between the ages of 20 and 30 in cooperation with Diakonie Düsseldorf, to offer them an alternative to their everyday life in the refugee home and to give them the opportunity to communicate in public during a video shoot.
