The Peacocks is a Swiss punk , rock and psychobilly band from Winterthur .

history

The band had their first appearance in their founding formation with Hasu Langhart, Adi and Michi in 1990. Their double bass player, Michi, left the band in the early stages and was replaced by Hasu's brother Simon.

In 1995 the band released their first album, “Come with us”. When the band finally wanted to start their first North American tour, Adi left the band, whereupon the third Langhart brother David, better known as Admiral James T. , steps in as a replacement. However, he is only a temporary replacement, after the end of the tour Toni joins the band. Toni left the band in 2002 for family reasons and was replaced by Jürg Luder.

During the time of their existence, the Peacocks had a variety of different labels, with several albums being released by another label depending on the region. Since 2007 the band has been working mostly with I Used To Fuck People Like You In Prison Records .
