Boro Drašković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Боро Драшковић ; born May 29, 1935 in Sarajevo , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian film director and screenwriter.

Life

Boro Drašković graduated from the Belgrade Academy for Film, Radio and Television in 1959 and became an assistant director to Andrzej Wajda in 1962 . Four years later he moved to Jerzy Kawalerowicz . Drašković sold his first screenplay in 1964 and made his first film Horoscope in 1969 . As a theater director, he staged classics from world literature from Aeschylus to Samuel Beckett , and he also staged Serbian classics such as Radoje Domanović , Petar Kočić and Danilo Kiš .
