The ideal “dolmen with corridor” ( French dolmen à couloir ) here in the tumulus

The Boscorre Dolmen is located in a dense oak forest with thorn bushes, east of Puéchabon near Aniane in the Hérault department in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The Boscorre Dolmen is a gangway dolmen with a q-shaped floor plan ( French dolmen à couloir - avec plan en q ), which, like many dolmens in the Herault, is damaged. It has a largely preserved dry stone corridor . The capstone has broken into several pieces, a large one of which lies on the cairn . While the burial chamber is complete, one side has started to collapse and it was necessary to fill the chamber with stones to avoid collapse.

The Boscorre Dolmen has been excavated. The results were published in the 1950s.

Nearby is the Dolmen Carrière de l'Espinasse.
