Bou Arada ( Arabic بوعرادة, DMG Būʿarāda , also Bouarada or Bu Aradah ) is a place in northwestern Tunisia , about 37 kilometers northeast of Siliana and about 71 kilometers southwest of Tunis .
Bou Arada is located in the Siliana Governorate and is the eponymous place for the Bou Arada delegation . According to the National Institute of Statistics, Bou Arada had 12,273 inhabitants in 2004.
Due to its location on the edge of the Tunisian dorsal , a plain is created that is used for agricultural purposes for grain production.

Historically of interest are Punic ruins near the city. In addition, Bou Arada was a theater of war during World War II.
