The Bourchier Cove (English; Bulgarian залив Баучър saliw Bautschar ) is a 2.35 km wide and 0.86 km long bay on the northwest coast of Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between Jireček Point in the northeast and Villagra Point in the southwest.
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after a mountain in the Rila Mountains in southwest Bulgaria in conjunction with the British journalist James David Bourchier (1850–1920), a mediator to end the Balkan Wars .
