The Jireček Point (English; Bulgarian нос Иречек nos Iretschek ) is a headland on the northeast coast of Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 1.1 km south-southeast of Markeli Point and 2.35 km north-northeast of Villagra Point on the south side of the entrance to Cabut Cove and on the northeast side of the entrance to Bourchier Cove .

Bulgarian scientists mapped them in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them in 2010 after the town of Iretschek in the northeast and the town of Iretschekowo in the southeast of Bulgaria in conjunction with the Austrian Balkanologist Konstantin Jireček (1854-1918).
