Bouteille
Bouteille ( French : bottle ) is a term for a slim 0.7 l wine bottle that has been used in Upper German-speaking countries since the second half of the 20th century . After the introduction of the EU standard bottle of 0.75 l, this term is also used for standard bottles.
Volume measure
Bouteille was also known as the German volume measure for liquids, especially wine . It corresponded to the quarter and was a Lübeck measure.
