Boyan Jovanovic
Boyan Jovanovic (born May 4, 1951 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian economist and currently a professor at New York University .
biography
Jovanovic studied economics first at the London School of Economics , then as a graduate student and doctoral candidate at the University of Chicago . In 1979 his first two publications (in the Journal of Political Economy ) attracted attention as they established an influential theory of job change. Today Jovanovic is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences .
