Boyd Island is a small island in the Vestfold Mountains off the Ingrid Christensen coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . In Prydz Bay it is located immediately south-southwest of Lugg Island and around 3.5 km north-northwest of Davis Station .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them in 1973 after Jeffrey J. Boyd, a doctor at Davis Station in 1970.
