The Boyd River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source on the eastern slopes of Mount Wedge not far from the southeast corner of Lake Gordon . From there it flows north, crosses under the Gordon River Road (B61) and flows into Lake Gordon and thus into the Wedge River .
