Bracken is a village ( Village ) in the town of Lone Tree No. 18 . It is in the extreme southwest of the Census Division No. 4 .

The place is named after John Bracken , the former Prime Minister of the Province of Manitoba and chairman of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. Bracken is located approximately 131 km south of Swift Current on Highway 18 . The border with the United States is about 20 km south.

Bracken has an area of ​​0.60 km² and lies at an elevation of 887 m (2,910 feet) above sea level.
