Brad Terry
Brad Terry (* 1937 ) is an American jazz musician ( clarinet ) and author. Doug Ramsey described it as " one of the well-hidden clarinet secrets of our time ".
Live and act
Terry worked in a youth summer camp for many years. He also taught jazz in the United States and Poland. The first recordings under his own name were made in New York a. a. with the pianist Eddie Thompson . As a musician he worked a. a. with Lenny Breau ( The Living Room Tapes 1978/79), Roger Kellaway ( Fifty-Fifty 1987), John Basile (Duo album 1989) and in Poland with Jarek Śmietana ( Ballads and Other Songs , 1993), Joachim Mencel ( All About Spring 1994 ) and the Swing Orchestra Krakow. In the field of jazz, he was involved in 14 recording sessions between 1971 and 1997. Currently (2015) Terry, who lives in Maine , plays in a duo with guitarist Peter Herman. In 2015 Terry published his autobiographical book I Feel More Like I Do Now Than I Did Yesterday (Lulu).
