Bradley Billington

Bradley Billington (* around 1970) is an English table tennis player who has been active since the 1980s. He took part in two world championships and three European championships .

Career

Bradley Billington came from a table tennis family. His father Maurice achieved success in the youth field, his sister Julie, who is two years younger, is also active in table tennis.

Bradley Billington achieved his first successes at the English Youth Championship, where he won the U16 singles title in 1985 and 1986. In the adult field, he was English champion in doubles with Alan Cooke in 2000 and 2004 . In 1997 and 2001 he took part in the World Championships, but never came close to medal ranks. He was more successful at Commonwealth Championships , in which he reached the final in doubles with Alan Cooke in 1997. In the team competition he won the gold medal in 1997 and the silver medal in 1995 and 2004.

Bradley Billington has been signed by several European clubs. In 1993 he joined the German club Borussia Brand , which was playing in the 2nd Bundesliga at the time . In 1994 he moved to France to ACS Fontenay, from 2001 to 2004 he was active in the Swiss National League A at TTC Wädenswil.
