Braintuning was a 30-minute knowledge broadcast on the ARD digital channel EinsPlus and aimed at young viewers.
Brain – Tuning is also part of the title of a book. Its authors use the term to refer to a kind of extended brain training that includes both mental and physical measures to promote mental performance.

The show dealt with a topic from several angles, including the studio audience and experts. The program was produced by the Munich production company First Entertainment on behalf of SWR . Braintuning has been broadcast on EinsPlus on Sundays at 8:15 p.m. since December 9, 2012. Repetitions ran on the same evening at 10:15 p.m., the following Monday at 1:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., and Tuesdays at 9:15 p.m. The program could also be seen on the ARD media library and the station's own website.
