Branislav Regec (born July 13, 1985 in Poprad ) is a Slovak luge athlete .

Branislav Regec is a sports teacher and lives in Poprad. He has been a member of the Slovak national team since 2000. He has been participating in the Luge World Cup with his partner Ján Harniš since the 2004/05 season in the doubles. After a 31st place in the debut season, the duo was able to continuously improve in the overall World Cup in the following years and placed 18th in the top 20 for the first time in the winter of 2006/07. Regec and Harniš have stabilized at this level: Until today (status: 2011) they achieved results between places 11 and 17 both in the overall World Cups and at the major events. In February 2010, the doubles took part in the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , where they finished eleventh out of twenty participants.

Regec also competed in the single-seater and was 31st at the 2006 European Championships in Winterberg. In the World Cup, he finished 64th and last in the 2005/06 season, but only took part in one race.
