Branitschewo ( Bulgarian Браничево ) is a Bulgarian village with 1354 inhabitants (as of 15 June 2009) in the municipality Kaolinowo of Shumen Province . Branitschewo is located at an altitude of about 295 meters above sea level, about nine kilometers north of the administrative center of the municipality in Kaolinowo. The main sources of income are forestry and agriculture. The former name of the village was Sharwi or Sarwi.
