Branka Strbać (born June 3, 1972 in Novi Grad , Istria as Brankica Drljača ) is a former Croatian national soccer player who played in the German Bundesliga for 15 years.

Career

Strbać started her professional career in 1990 with ŽNK Maksimir Zagreb and was runner-up in the Yugoslav women's football league Klubovi 1 in her first season . In the 1993/94 season she left her home country Yugoslavia and moved to the Bundesliga for TuS Niederkirchen . After seven years in Niederkirchen, there was a season (2000/01) at 1. FFC Frankfurt before moving to SC Sand . There she played for five years and returned to TuS Niederkirchen in autumn 2006, where she ended her career in summer 2008. In total, she came to 30 Bundesliga games and 20 second division games in the highest German women's football leagues.

National team

Strbać made her international debut for the Croatian national football team on October 28, 1993 against the Slovenian selection . From 1993 to 2001 she completed a total of 15 international matches and scored one goal.
