Branthoh I.
Branthoh I. OSB († September 1, 991 ) was Abbot of Fulda .
As the successor to Werinheri , who died on October 30, 982 in Lucca , Branthoh I became abbot of the Fulda monastery in late 982 or early 983 . In contrast to his predecessor and also to his successors, he was very reluctant to work in the service of Eastern Franconia . His presence at a Reichstag can only be proven once in July 985 in Frankfurt. There the privileges granted to him by Charlemagne for Fulda were confirmed.
