The Bratislava Monarchs are a Slovak American football team that was founded in 1996. Having won three Slovak championships, the Monarchs are one of the top teams in Slovakia. In 2018 the Monarchs played in Austria's top division, the AFL . After the sporting relegation from this, the Monarchs will compete in the second highest Austrian division, Division I , in 2019 .
