The Friedrich Riemhofer Brewery (also Riemhofer ) is a beer brewery in Riedenburg in Lower Bavaria , a town in the Kelheim district . In 2008 the brewery had an annual production of 18,000 hectoliters. In addition, soft drinks are produced.

history

In 1683 the right to brew beer was granted. In 1841 Simon Riemhofer took over the “Zum Schwan” brewery (today a hotel belonging to the brewery). Since then, it has been owned by the Riemhofers. In 1959 the brewery was rebuilt at its current location and has been expanded and renewed regularly since then.

Brewing process

The brewery uses water from its own 122 m deep well, hops from the Hallertau , brewing barley and wheat from Bavaria, as well as its own cultivated yeast.

The brewery has a maximum capacity of 160 hectoliters of wort, the filling line reaches 16,000 bottles per hour.

Products

Under the Riemhofer brand name, the product range includes the beer types Schwanengold , Helles Vollbier , Festbier , Radler , Schwanen-Weisse , Dunkles Weizen , Leichtes Weizen and Schwanenpower .

The Mandelberger mineral water is produced and sold as sparkling and still .

In addition, the non-alcoholic drinks lemonade , orange lemonade , ColaMix , apple spritzer and sport are produced under license from Frucade .

Bottle caps and screw- top bottles are filled .
