The Muzeum Browaru Żywiec is a Polish brewery museum in Żywiec in the Saybuscher basin .

history

Beer was brewed in Żywiec from the spring water of the eastern mountain streams of the Silesian Beskids . The Żywiec brewery was founded in 1856 by Albrecht Habsburg , the owner of the Teschener Kammer , as the archducal brewery Saybusch near Żywiec. The brewery museum presents the history of the brewery and brewing on an area of ​​approx. 1600 m². It was set up in the brewery's 18 historic rock cellars, in which the beer was once kept cool. The museum also offers Żywiec beer tastings .
