Braza real

Braza real was a measure of length in Spain . The measure in the province of Valencia was the royal fathom . It was in effect at least until 1859.

  • 1 Braza real = 9 Palmos (large) = 2¼ Vara = 2.04075 meters
  • 20 real braza = 1 cuerda / cord / chain
