Menarinibus (previously BredaMenarinibus ) is an Italian manufacturer of buses and coaches based in Bologna . Formerly independent under the name Menarinibus , the company was taken over by Breda (mechanical engineering) and since January 2015 has belonged to 80% of the King Long group and 20% to the Leonardo company . Since 2019, BredaMenarinibus, only managed as Menarinibus, has belonged to IIA - Industria Italiana Autobus , which owns 20.07% Leonardo , 20.03% the Turkish bus manufacturer Karsan , 29.95% the state investment company Invitalia, and 29.95% another Investment firm owned. The name Breda was dropped, the name Padane reactivated.

ZEUS electric bus
The company offers the seven-seater ZEUS electric bus , which has a range of around 120 kilometers with a charge using lithium-ion batteries .
Hybrid bus M 240EL
With the M 240EL series, the company also offers an electric-diesel hybrid bus .
Different versions are available:
- Type M 240 NU with 18 seats and 73 standing places or 16 seats, 1 place for wheelchair users and 70 standing places
- Type M 240 LU with 22 seats and 74 standing places or 20 seats, 1 place for wheelchair users and 76 standing places
The bus is powered by a Siemens electric motor with a continuous output of 67 kW and a peak output of 150 kW. Another Siemens electric motor of 20 kW supplies the auxiliary units for control and compressed air.
A Zebra ZC5 battery with a charge capacity of 96 Ah is used as the battery .
A 130 kW diesel engine of the type OM 904 from Daimler AG is also available.
