Breese am Seißelberge is a part of the municipality of Nahrendorf in the district of Lüneburg in Lower Saxony .
The village is located 2 km southeast of the core area of Nahrendorf. To the southwest, 2.5 km from the village, lies the Kellerberg nature reserve . Breese am Seißelberge is located on the northern edge of the Göhrde , which with 75 km² is the largest contiguous mixed forest area in northern Germany .
The Göhrde train station , which is located in the area of Breese on the Seißelberge, is a stop on the Wittenberge – Buchholz railway line . The building, which is now a listed building, was built in 1874. It served as a reception station for imperial hunts in the state forest of Göhrde until 1913 .
