Breite Strasse 16 (Düsseldorf)

The building at Breite Strasse 16 in Düsseldorf was built in 1906 as a bank building for the Rheinisch-Westfälische Disconto-Gesellschaft in neoclassicism based on a design by the architect Carl Moritz . Its facade was integrated into the new Dresdner Bank building designed by the architects Kraemer, Sieverts & Partner in 1983 and is a listed building .

The facade with its columns is reminiscent of a temple front . A three- story building rises above a high rusticated base , with Doric columns in front of it, which extend over three floors. They support a flat gable , framed by attic storeys on the side risalite . There are two statues on the gable .
