The Bremen Yearbook is a historical periodical that was published once a year from 1864 (for the 1863 year), initially by the Department of the Artists' Association for Bremen History and Antiquities, and later by the Bremen Historical Society together with the Bremen State Archives ; since 1975 only from the State Archives "in connection with the historical society". The yearbook was not published from 1944 to 1946 due to the war . In 2016 appeared in the self-publishing band of the State Archives 95th
It is considered "the historical journal of Bremen" and contains articles on Bremen and North West German national history . It offers the latest research on the history of the city and the state of Bremen in essays, miscommunications , work reports and reviews .
