Coordinates: 71 ° 41 ′ S , 12 ° 5 ′ E
Bremotet (Norwegian for glacier meeting point ) is a small moraine area in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It is located on the northwest flank of the Zwieselberg in the Wohlthat massif and represents the place where the Humboldtgraben meets the Parischskaja-Kommuna glacier .
Aerial photographs of the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher were used for initial mapping. Norwegian cartographers, who also named this moraine area, carried out a new mapping using aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) from 1958 to 1959.
