The Brennabor 1 liter Type C is a small car that the Brennabor works brought out in 1931.
The vehicle had a four cylinder - SV incorporated -Reihenmotor with 1 liter displacement front. It developed 20 hp at 2800 rpm. It drove the rear wheels via a single-disc dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox with a gearshift lever in the middle of the car. The cars with U-profile pressed steel frame had rigid axles with semi-elliptical longitudinal leaf springs at the rear and pushed drawbar axles with transverse leaf springs at the front and were available as a two-door sedan, two-door convertible or two-door roadster, each with two or 2 + 2 seats. The mechanical footbrake worked on all four wheels, the handbrake on the rear wheels. Only about 1000 copies of the vehicle could be sold in two years.
The concept was therefore revised and the 1 liter type D Brennabor was presented in 1933 . The car was a bit bigger and had 2 hp more power. This model was also unsuccessful. In the only year of production, only about 1000 pieces were made.
