Brett Clark (sociologist)

Brett Clark (born in Rapid City ) is an American sociologist who is a professor of sociology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and who has also taught at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

Career

He has written several articles in science magazines and books, including a. in collaboration with Richard York and John Bellamy Foster Critique of Intelligent Design: Materialism versus Creationism from Antiquity to the Present on the eternal conflict between belief in creation and science, The Ecological Rift: Capitalism's War on the Earth on global environmental destruction, and The Science and Humanism of Stephen Jay Gould on the palaeontologist and historian of science of the same name.

Some of his books and articles have already been translated into German, Portuguese, Turkish and many other languages.
