Brett Studman (born April 19, 1985 in Kempsey , Australia ) is an Australian football player .

Career

Studman played in the inaugural A-League season for the Newcastle United Jets in 2005/06 , but was only used on Matchday 4 before an ankle injury set him back. At the end of the season, he received no contract extension and moved to the NSW Premier League for the Bankstown City Lions . In the summer of 2009, he completed the first official game of the newly formed A-League team North Queensland Fury as a test player against the Singaporean team Tampines Rovers , but received no contract offer. A year later he got Robbie Middleby , who also took part as captain in the debut game against the Tampines Rovers and moved to the management of the club at the end of the season, but still to Fury.

In 2001 Studman was part of Australia's 18-strong squad at the U-17 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago. He was substituted on once during the tournament.
