Brian Augustyn (born November 2, 1954 ) is an American comic book writer and editor.

Life and work

Augustyn began working as an editor and writer for the American publisher DC-Comics in the late 1980s . In the early 1990s he took over the editorial supervision of such series as The Flash , Darkstars and Justice League as well as various series of the series ! Mpact Comics .

As a writer, Augustyn wrote such works as the graphic novel Batman : Gotham by Gaslight or the series The Flash , Imperial Guard , Out There , Crimson and Mega Man . He often worked with Mark Waid as a co-author .

In 1994, Augustyn received the Wizard Fan Award for Most Popular Editor for his work. Augustyn currently works as the Managing Editor for Visionary Comics Studio.
