Brian Mills

Brian Mills (born October 25, 1933 in Manchester , † June 3, 2006 ibid) was a British television director who worked primarily for Granada Television .

life and career

Brian Mills was married to television actress Brigit Forsyth . He directed episodes of the series The Cuckoo Waltz , Crown Court , First Among Equals and over 60 episodes of the soap opera Coronation Street . He became best known for his work on the series Sherlock Holmes , where he directed the feature film The Hound of the Baskervilles, among others .

He died on June 3, 2006 in his native Manchester at the age of 72.
