Brian Routh
Brian Routh (born March 9, 1948 in Gateshead , County Durham - † August 3, 2018 ) was a British performance artist , sound artist and actor.
life and work
Brian Routh was born into a working class family and graduated from Bifron's Secondary Modern School in Greater London in 1963 . During his studies at the East 15 Acting School he met Martin von Haselberg . Together they founded the performance duo The Kipper Kids and the fictional character Harry and Harry Kipper. Brian Routh worked as a sound artist.
Brian Routh was married to media artist Nina Sobell from 1975 to 1981. As a visiting professor at the San Francisco Art Institute , he met Karen Finley, with whom he was married from 1981 to 1987. In 2012 Routh married Patricia Routh (née Wells).
